For the Easter holiday 2001, Mark Harris organised a skiing holiday, on which ten of us went. I had never been skiing before, so I was a little nervous...

	Either our bus for the last leg of the journey (well I call it a bus, but it was more a large minivan taxi taking us on a terror journey through hell doing 180° spins over perilous cliffs...) was about to leave, or somebody had just opened a box of chocolate biscuits. I think it was the latter.
Could it be, even in France, we cannot escape the catalogue posing? Of course we can't. :-)
	The people who stayed with me in one of the rooms – Lucinda, Simon, Amy and Mark. I got the pull out bed on the floor. Henry, Cath, Martin, Ollie and Alex took the other room upstairs.
A picture of the part of Val Thorens near where we were staying. We had two rooms within an apartment block (called Le Nêves) that were floors apart (Mark’s canny cheap deals coming to the fore again ;) ), quite nice but nothing special.
