LondonMidlandEveningPeak

Evening peak restrictions are being introduced on some tickets on trains leaving Birmingham New Street, Moor Street, Five Ways and the Jewellery Quarter from 4th January 2010. This mostly means if you plan to go to Birmingham and come home between 16:35 and 18:00 you'll need an anytime ticket, or a season or daytripper ticket. On the other hand, you could just buy a ticket to somewhere that doesn't have the evening restriction, but involves going through Birmingham anyway, so you can catch any train home. The table below gives some examples of day returns, more are welcome.
