Oxford Student Chorus

We are a non-auditioning university wide choir. Our aim is to make enjoyable music, perform great concerts, and to have fun!

The choir has been around for several years, under different guises, and our list of past concerts is diverse. We've sung with many of the university orchestras, classical pieces, traditional folk songs, a capella... To see more, just have a glance at our list of past concerts. We meet on average once a week, and are always on the look out for anyone who wants to sing. Although non-auditioning, we've had some great reviews in the past and we intend to keep them coming!

Latest News (25th November 2004)

This term's concert takes place in Exeter Chapel at 8pm on Thursday 2nd December (8th week). We will be performing Britten's 'Rejoice In The Lamb', Stanford's 'For Lo I Raise Up' and Parry's hymn 'Crossing the Bar'.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held weekly on Tuesdays, from 7.30 - 9.30. They will be held in Oriel College Chapel (except next week's, which is in Exeter Chapel). They'll be a refreshment break in the middle, with free squash and biscuits, and time for a quick chat! It finishes early enough for you to get to your favourite club night, or you can join the committee in the pub for an after rehearsal drink! If you can't make one, all we ask is you let us know beforehand, just a quick e-mail...
